Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates delivering excellent customer service in a busy store environment. You will coach, train, and delegate tasks, ensuring department coverage and safety while supporting cross-department needs to meet store goals.

You will interact with customers to clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales, while also handling non-customer-facing duties such as stock, inventory, and area recovery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate, follow up on daily tasks, and ensure adequate department coverage.
• Oversee customer facing activities, down stocking, inventory management, area recovery, and safety practices.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive sales and service objectives and morale.
• Supervise associates in other departments as needed to meet store demands.
