Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and well-stocked store, and supporting merchandising decisions. The role emphasizes coaching, delegation, and ensuring department coverage while driving sales and a positive customer experience.

The position may involve opening/closing duties and occasional travel to support neighboring stores. 39–40 hour schedules are typical for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional retail coursework is a plus.
• 3 years retail experience OR 5 years retail experience preferred.
• Experience supervising or directing teams.
• Experience cross-functionally and training/emerging associates.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources and tools to support associates delivering customer service.
• Assist with down stocking and merchandising decisions.
• Coach employees on safety, lifting techniques and safe store practices.
• Lead and enable a team to deliver optimal customer experience, including coaching and training.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing tasks and store safety.
