Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment in Tampa, FL is hiring a Retail Operations Team Lead to greet customers, keep shelves stocked, and maintain an organized, clean store. You will promote the Northern Tool credit card and extended service protection plans while supporting management with day-to-day operations.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, leadership ability, flexible weekends/holidays, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience or more.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to customers.
• Lead key operational functions to ensure store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall readiness.
• Maintain a neat, organized store with merchandising, planograms, and stock.
• Lead by example and take on extra responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader and assist with opening/closing the store.
