Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead in Sarasota, FL. You will greet customers, assist with solutions, and model leadership on the sales floor while promoting credit programs and protection plans.

Responsibilities include managing stock, merchandising, and supporting store leadership with opening/closing duties. The role requires at least 1 year in retail and a passion for tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays.
• Love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
• Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while actively performing the role of a sales representative.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (avg. 25% time) and opening/closing the store.
