Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a Floor Supervisor to help manage day-to-day store operations and support the General Manager in their absence. You will lead staff to achieve store goals at Westlake Ace Hardware locations and ensure excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, prior retail management experience, and hardware knowledge, with the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and climb while upholding Ace's core values.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Hardware experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Proactively assist customers, greet and thank customers, resolve complaints with a friendly demeanor and strong product knowledge.
• Store Operations: Open/close the store, supervise operations, ensure safety, implement programs, support loss prevention and audits, and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Manage receiving, stocking, back stock levels, cycle counts, signage, and merchandising presentation.
• Leadership: Train staff, lead meetings, communicate issues to the General Manager, and support staff development and advancement.
• Other Essential Requirements: Demonstrate Ace core values in daily decisions and interactions.
