Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Retail Supervisor to coordinate a team at an assigned location under the Retail Manager. You will oversee receiving, tagging, pricing, floor merchandising, and customer service while supporting inventory control and cashier duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role and can operate the Micros POS system, with willingness to work overtime, nights, or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar retail role.
• Experience using Micros POS system.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the receiving and tagging of incoming merchandise.
• Assigns daily tasks and ensures tasks are performed correctly and in a timely manner, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Coordinates the moving of incoming merchandise to retail office, storage areas and/or display floor.
• Handles the storing of all incoming merchandise in assigned locations.
• Ensures correct pricing on all products on the floor.
• Maintains customer service standards.
• Cashiers when necessary to expedite the processing of guests’ purchases.
• Responsible for the recording of damaged merchandise.
• Merchandises the floor for maximum sale of all products.
• Works with team members to facilitate stocking of the floor with appropriate levels of merchandise.
• Leads special projects (holidays, events, etc.).
• Communicates with the manager to ensure all received products are placed on the retail floor as soon as possible.
• Leads the maintenance of inventory levels within guidelines.
• Trains new hires on POS system, overall safety, and job responsibilities.
