Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to support daily store operations and drive sales to meet budget while upholding company standards. You may act as a supervisor in the Store Manager's or Sales Floor Manager's absence.

The role requires cash handling, merchandising, training new hires, mentoring associates, maintaining a clean, safe store, and representing Goodwill positively to customers. Flexibility for nights/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and sales performance to meet budget.
• Perform duties of a supervisor when assigned by Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager.
• Record and balance cash register receipts and make bank deposits.
• Monitor and assist in receiving, pricing and displaying store merchandise.
• Assist in training and mentoring Sales Floor Associates and community service workers.
• Attend regularly scheduled shifts and ensure safety inspections are completed.
