Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support 5-6 retail stores within the CBRE client portfolio.

You will troubleshoot and repair RTUs and split systems, plus perform general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. This role includes a company vehicle and tools; a valid driver’s license, EPA certification, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of related experience or trade school training.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to operate a full-size van/truck and use basic hand tools.
• Universal CFC or EPA certification required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance on RTUs, split systems and related building systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and order supplies as needed.
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, roofs, and drains.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and safety.
• Oversee work by outside contractors and maintain lighting systems.
• Respond to emergencies and document activities via PDA.
