Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support 5-6 retail stores in the Mesquite area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial RTUs and split HVAC systems, plus general electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and roofing tasks.

A company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad, and iPhone will be provided. You will review work orders, estimate materials, manage tasks in CMMS, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and reliability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years related experience and/or trade school training.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a full-size van/truck.
• Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with PDA, email.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials; order supplies.
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC, plumbing systems, roofs, drains.
• Inspect installations for building codes and safety compliance.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC/R, plumbing) for proper operation.
• Oversee and inspect work by outside contractors.
• Maintain lighting system and perform related tasks.
• Perform furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and communicate activity daily via PDA.
