Job summary

Rally House in Lenexa, KS invites applications for a Retail Facilities Intern role to support day-to-day operations and long-term maintenance of retail locations and corporate facilities.

You will gain hands-on experience in work order management, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, and facilities-related financial processes while collaborating with Facilities, Construction, vendors, and store teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a relevant degree.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work part-time in Lenexa and during standard M-F hours at the corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders by coordinating service requests, tracking repairs, following up with vendors, and verifying completion.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and develop recurring reports to track maintenance activity and performance.
• Assist with vendor management, including bid comparisons, onboarding, compliance tracking, contract renewals, and vendor performance reviews.
• Support new store openings by coordinating service providers (HVAC, window cleaning, etc.), tracking punch lists, and ensuring facilities are ready for opening day.
• Assist with compliance and life-safety initiatives, including inspections, emergency preparedness, fire alarm monitoring, and safety documentation.
• Support facilities financial processes, including invoice processing, budget tracking, maintenance spend analysis, and savings initiatives.
• Assist with store support projects such as facility condition assessments and signage replacement programs.
