Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member in Fairfax, VA to help keep the store clean and organized while delivering friendly customer service. Duties include stocking, cleaning, cashiering, and supporting omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy items as needed.

You will work under supervision, adhere to SOPs, and uphold safety and company standards while providing an excellent shopping experience to guests.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas using standard materials and equipment.
• Handle checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments when applicable.
• Support omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship from Store.
