2020 Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist in Cincinnati, OH. In this field-based role you will visit retailers, educate merchants on the client’s financial services, and help grow the program across your territory.

You’ll travel daily within the assigned area, typically completing 22–35 visits per day, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation includes $21 per hour plus a 10% monthly bonus, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; sales/retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route independently.

Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. This is a field‑based role located in Cincinnati, OH, with a regular work schedule of Monday through Friday. Compensation includes $21 per hour plus a 10% monthly bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each visit and submit feedback reports in a timely manner.

Day‑to‑Day

This is a field‑based position with daily travel within the assigned territory. Approximately 22‑35 retail visits per day are expected, depending on geography and scheduling. The role involves a mix of in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up, requiring an independent work style supported by leadership and training teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience preferred.

• Adaptable, professional, customer‑focused, and capable of working in a field‑based environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and successful motor vehicle record screening.

Performance Measurements

• Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals.
• Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals.
• Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly, scheduling visits two weeks or more in advance.
• Execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits.
• Demonstrate the ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement, and consistent productivity.
