Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a leader to plan and guide all stores within the assigned area, with full P&L responsibility and alignment to company objectives. You will drive store performance, oversee operations, merchandising, inventory, and customer service.

This role requires four-plus years of retail management, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and proven ability to develop teams, manage budgets, and implement loss prevention. Weekly travel in a company vehicle is expected.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations with full P&L.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams and ensure a culture that fosters the mission and values.
• Fair administration of human resources policies & practices.
• Provide superior customer service through fun, friendly stores.
• Drive area annual sales growth meeting or exceeding targets through quality orders and efficient flow processes.
• Ensure effective use of all tools in each store to optimize inventory and presentation.
• Plan and execute company objectives with strong scheduling.
• Recruit, select, and educate employees; develop human capital.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the operating area.
