• 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior design, home furnishings, or trade sales.
• Strong relationship-building and client-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with proactive business development.
• Highly organized with disciplined follow-through and time management.
• Comfortable traveling locally for trade meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Ernesta’s local trade business with designers, architects, and trade partners.
• Own a portfolio of trade accounts and drive repeat projects and revenue growth.
• Identify and acquire new trade accounts through outreach and networking.
• Activate new trade accounts by understanding client needs and Ernesta’s offerings.
• Spend 20–30% of the month engaging with the trade community through events and meetings.
• Maintain an organized pipeline with next steps, timelines, and engagement activities.
• Collaborate with Showroom Leader and Design Assistants to deliver a seamless trade experience.
• Represent Ernesta with professionalism and a passion for design.
