Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to manage a busy department, ensuring efficient operations and high standards. You will oversee inventory, pricing, and displays while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires retail experience, strong communication, and adaptability to support store goals and provide a positive shopping environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience with knowledge of department.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address issues efficiently.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week with varied hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scanning outs, inventory management, recovery, price changes, and planogram sets.
• Maintain department cleanliness and follow merchandising guidelines and displays.
• Monitor inventory levels with stock counts and replenishment from stockroom or top stock.
• Coordinate and execute price changes and update pricing labels.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and orderly environment and provide customer assistance as needed.
