Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to ensure efficient operations in the assigned department, overseeing scanning outs, inventory, price changes, and planogram compliance. You will maintain standards, support front-end tasks, and contribute to a safe, clean shopping environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the indoor merchandising guide to maintain department and signing standards.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels with regular stock counts and replenishment.
• Oversee the recovery process to keep the department neat and appealing.
• Coordinate and execute price changes accurately with teams.
• Manage playbook implementations and planogram sets per guidelines.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety for customers and staff.
• Provide customer service and assist with inquiries and locating products.
• Support front-end tasks by processing transactions or loadouts as needed.
• Operate retail equipment and handheld devices safely.
• Participate in cross-training for flexibility across departments.
• Engage in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely internal and external support to colleagues.
