Job summary

Bath & Body Works in Columbus, OH is seeking a Demand Forecaster to create store and SKU level forecasts using RELEX. You will analyze historical sales, market trends and store characteristics to drive supply chain decisions and report to the Manager of Demand Forecasting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of retail planning experience, strong analytical and Excel skills (Power Pivot a plus), and the ability to work with large data sets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience in retail planning, allocation, buying, and/or finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills. Knowledge of Power Pivot is a plus.
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data.
• Organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently producing accurate work.
• Basic understanding of retail principles and forecasting methodologies.
• Specialty retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors, using RELEX.
• Analyzes store performance and provide insights that may influence future business decisions.
• Manage promotions, local events, and Holidays and their impact on a store's behavior.
• Establish strong working relationships with key partners including Inventory, Merchandising, Real Estate and Store Operations.
• Actively pursue growth and development opportunities, continually finding ways to improve.
