Job summary

Luxe Brands in Columbus, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Store Inventory Planner / Allocator to ensure the right product is in the right store at the right time. You’ll manage allocations, develop store-level plans, and analyze weekly sales and sizing performance to maximize sales and minimize markdowns.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to turn data into actionable recommendations while collaborating with Planning, Buying, Distribution, and Store Ops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, retail merchandising, supply chain, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning, inventory planning or demand planning.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP & VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation, and conditional formatting.
• Experience using retail planning, allocation, inventory management, POS, or ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of retail inventory management and inventory productivity metrics.

Responsibilities

• Allocate incoming purchase orders to stores based on approved allocation strategies, sales plans, inventory targets, and store capacity.
• Execute initial and replenishment allocations to ensure the right product is in the right store at the right time.
• Develop and maintain store-level inventory plans by department, classification, and key item.
• Establish inventory targets based on sales forecasts, store volume, seasonal demand, new store openings, and promotional activity.
• Recommend replenishment, store transfers, redistribution, markdown opportunities, and allocation adjustments to maximize full-price selling and inventory productivity.
• Analyze weekly sales and inventory performance by store, style, color, size, and classification.
