Job summary

Rivian is seeking a dynamic Retail and Delivery Manager to scale customer interactions across locations, owning the full journey from initial engagement to vehicle delivery. You will lead a high-impact team, drive sales and delivery performance, and collaborate cross-functionally to refine processes and activations that reflect Rivian’s mission and values.

The role requires strong leadership, field sales experience, and a customer-first mindset, with travel up to 75% and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field sales; 2+ field leadership, preferably multi-unit management.
• Retail, sales, hospitality or similar fields highly preferred; experience in a direct-to-consumer business model and/or commission-based sales organization a plus.
• Strong understanding of the electric vehicle industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory considerations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant working experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays; travel up to 75% based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer experience is best-in-class across your region; authentic, engaging, educational, and aligned with Rivian values.
• Drive sales performance and execute strategic initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market share.
• Own, track, and deliver on KPIs; align team with company objectives and drive performance at location level.
• Oversee vehicle delivery process from preparation to final handoff; ensure flawless execution.
• Collaborate with Service, Vehicle Operations and other departments to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Optimize staffing to meet customer demand with efficient schedules and shifts.
• Plan and execute activations, events, and strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
• Manage store financials including revenue plan and payroll budget; ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Rivian policies.
