Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Roanoke, VA is hiring for a Store Team Member. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and process fast, accurate checkout transactions while maintaining store standards.

You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, organizing merchandise, participate in BOPIS and SFS processes, and support safety and shrink programs. Ability to stand long hours and lift boxes is required; applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift boxes.
• Must be at least 16 years old in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey and assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Support store recovery, inventory, and safety programs.
