Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Leader to direct department associates in merchandising, customer service, and operations. You will drive daily tasks, staff scheduling, and training to maintain high standards of service and store presentation.

Responsibilities include executing merchandising directives, supporting sales and payroll goals, and ensuring inventory accuracy while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze certain reports.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers, associates, customers, and the public.
• Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff and corporate teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs department associates daily to meet sales and service goals.
• Maintains merchandising directives and plan-o-grams set by Corporate Office.
• Staffs department with service-oriented associates; participates in interviewing and training.
• Coordinates events, pricing integrity, and inventory accuracy.
• Delivers a legendary customer experience by assessing needs and recommending products.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and labor laws.
