Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, complete transactions using the POS system, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required; on-site work in a retail setting with lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Assist customers with product selection and locate merchandise.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Stock shelves, unpack deliveries, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment and assist with store operations.
