Job summary

Family Dollar in Dumas, AR is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

You will unload shipments, receive merchandise, maintain safety and asset protection, and provide friendly, professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.

This role requires up to 50 lbs lifting and standing for long periods; flexible hours and access to training and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
