Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience in Des Arc, AR. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, while delivering friendly service to guests. You will work with store leadership to ensure operational standards are met and have opportunities for growth through

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive and unload merchandise, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors mopped, trash removed, and areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
