Job summary

Family Dollar is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and keep the store clean and stocked.

You’ll support merchandise receiving and stock replenishment while maintaining a safe, friendly environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior retail or service experience preferred, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet physical demands of the role.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and replenishment.
