Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, process sales at the register, and keep the store stocked and clean. You will help unload trucks, restock merchandise, and ensure safety and a friendly environment for customers and teammates.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness (bathrooms, floors, trash).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
