Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep areas neat and safe.

You should be reliable, have good communication, and be able to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience helps. Part-time position located at Lepanto, AR with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
