Job summary

Michaels in State College is seeking team members to help customers shop, locate products, and check out quickly and friendly. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandising while upholding our Brand Promises.

The role includes participating in store recovery, inventory control, and basic framing support as needed. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are capable of handling cash, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and balance at the register.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollment.
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and VOC surveys.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery and inventory accuracy; support safety programs.
