Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations from merchandising to assisting customers. The role involves handling transactions, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and cross-training to cover front-end duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and move for extended periods, and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
