Job summary

Dollar Tree in Gettysburg is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help with daily store operations, merchandising, and customer support. You will be cross-trained to assist at the cash register and can switch to front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes greeting customers, maintaining a clean, safe environment, handling transactions, and protecting company assets while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock products as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat store including restrooms and floors.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
