Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, and cross-train for front-end duties. The role involves receiving merchandise, merchandising, cleaning, and handling sales at the cash register with a focus on a welcoming shopping experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Prolonged standing, walking, lifting 30–50 lbs, and repetitive motions may be required.
• Proficient math for cash handling and accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight following safety and productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and public areas.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with customers and team members.
• Handle sales transactions at the assigned cash register and protect cash/assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.
