Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. The role includes assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining cash safety, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and upholding store cleanliness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, retail/service experience is preferred, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
