Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

This part-time role requires reliable teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer supportive benefits and a friendly work environment in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
