Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and safe.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, replenishing stocks, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for customers and teammates. This role offers various benefits and opportunities for growth in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
