Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store presentation and safety.

The role involves stocking, unloading merchandise, and upholding cleanliness across the store. Ideal candidates have prior retail or service experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform heavy walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
