Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Store Team Member in Humble, TX to deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store. You will handle checkout, assist with truck unloading and stocking, and ensure the store remains well-merchandised and in-stock.

You’ll engage customers in rewards programs and enrollment in private label credit cards. You will participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, support store recovery, and

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods; physical ability to lift and move boxes as required

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash transactions
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain store recovery standards and ensure in-stock merchandise
• Engage customers with rewards programs and private label credit card enrollments
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS) and Voice of Customer surveys
• Participate in shrink control, safety programs, and SOP compliance
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
