Job summary

The Michaels Companies is hiring a part-time Retail Customer Service Team Member for our Reston, VA location. You will assist customers, manage checkout duties, and help with truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to keep the shop well-merchandised and in-stock.

You’ll engage customers on rewards programs and private label cards, participate in Omni channel processes, and follow SOPs while maintaining a positive, helpful store environment for guests and fellow team members.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery to keep shelves full.
• Educate customers on loyalty programs and enrollments.
• Support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Follow SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and safety.
