Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Union City, CA to support daily store operations, merchandising, and front-end duties. You will assist customers, handle merchandise, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required
• High level of integrity is required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms, floors and trash
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and protecting cash/assets
• Other duties as assigned
