Job summary

Family Dollar Owensboro is actively seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and ensure a secure environment. Responsibilities include keeping shelves stocked, assisting with unloading trucks, restocking, cleaning duties, and following operational documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and enduring active store duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
