Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our store team. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a secure cash environment while keeping shelves stocked and merchandise replenished.

You will also help with unloading trucks, cleaning, and ensuring a safe, friendly shopping experience for all customers and colleagues. This is a part-time, on-site role requiring strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret procedures.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain cash security and protect assets.
• Stock shelves and restock merchandise; unload trucks as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
