Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help shoppers with questions, process transactions, and keep the store organized and stocked. You will assist customers, handle cash responsibly, and maintain a safe, friendly environment in a busy retail setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication, with duties including merchandise unloading and daily store cleaning to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent lifting and walking activities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash handling.
• Other duties as assigned*.
