Job summary

Family Dollar in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store stocked and clean while following policies and procedures.

You will work part-time with responsibilities including unloading trucks, restocking, maintaining safety and courtesy, and supporting leaders to ensure a positive environment for customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication required.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness of store, bathrooms, floors, trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
