Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Massachusetts LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience and assist customers with questions and recommendations. You will handle sales transactions, stock replenishment, and store cleanliness in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. This is a part-time, on-site position in Chicopee, MA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at a cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
