Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Massachusetts LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment at our Holyoke location.

Responsibilities include stocking, receiving merchandise, and ensuring security of cash and company assets while delivering friendly, professional service to customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail customer service experience in various settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
