Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Massachusetts LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires physical capability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to support customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
