Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Massachusetts LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, maintain store cleanliness, stock merchandise, and support deliveries.

The role requires good communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time schedule with opportunities for growth within a supportive retail team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and replenish merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; support stock replenishment.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
