Job summary

Michaels in Salem, NH is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers, ensure a fast checkout, and enroll customers in rewards programs. You will help with BOPIS/SFS, keep shelves stocked, and uphold store standards in a friendly environment.

The role involves unloading stock, organizing planograms, and supporting framing sales while modeling positive behavior and excellent service. Flexible hours and a team-oriented atmosphere are offered.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Available to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers about Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them when applicable.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock, well-merchandised store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
