Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC in Struthers, Ohio is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process sales transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time schedule with opportunities for growth within the company is available.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned*
