Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate in Ohio. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean. You’ll protect cash, stock merchandise, and support a safe, friendly shopping atmosphere for guests and team members.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions. Physical stocking tasks and frequent movement are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or grocery environments preferred.
• Ability to interpret instructions and operate according to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
