Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the cash register, and maintain store appearance and stock levels.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to follow instructions. This position involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent walking and standing in a retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
